BLSA Club Days at Bovingdon Airfield – Sundays

This is open to BLSA members as BLSA Insurance is required at this venue. Those not in the BLSA wishing to 'Have a Go' will be covered by the BLSA's Instructor insurance.

This is a concrete runway so make sure you bring your mast protectors.
 
DIRECTIONS
From Aylesbury on A41:
a)       Take the exit signposted Bourne End Mills Industrial Estate Services (not the Bourne End exit).
b)       Over the first Roundabout past the Petrol Station
c)       2nd exit at next Roundabout and over the A41
d)       Take the turning on the right and then take a left onto Upper Bourne End Lane (this is a dead-end road leading to Runway Farm).
e)       Follow from d) below
From M25:
a)       Exit at Junction 20 signposted, A41 Aylesbury, Hemel Hempstead, follow the A41 (dual-carriageway) for approximately 5 miles.
b)       Take the exit signposted Bourne End Mills Industrial Estate Services (not the Bourne End exit).
c)       After 50 meters turn left onto Upper Bourne End Lane (this is a dead-end road leading to Runway Farm).
d)       After 900 meters pass through a set of iron gates, over some rough track and onto a concrete hard standing.
e)       Turn right through a set of blue gates onto a very wide concrete road.
f)         Continue on this road for 300 meters and then turn right onto the main runway. (This usually has cones or a barrier across to stop the Paintballers parking on the Runway). 
 
If there is a Paintball Marshall at this point, tell him that you are there to sail Blokarts on the Runway and he will let you through.  If there is no Marshall please move the cones / barrier but make sure you replace them behind you.
